In this role, you will be the friendly face of our company, responsible for delivering products efficiently and safely to our valued customers. Your enthusiasm for driving, excellent customer service skills, and organizational ability will ensure timely deliveries and positive client experiences. Duties Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals while managing multiple stops throughout the day. Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, handling heavy items with care to prevent damage or injury. Engage professionally with customers during deliveries, building rapport and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records while ensuring all paperwork complies with organizational standards. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and proper functioning of all equipment. Requirements Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and automobile transportation. Strong knowledge of basic math for calculating pricing, measurements, and delivery quantities. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Retail store or restaurant experience or background is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation. Demonstrated organizational skills for managing schedules, routes, and delivery documentation efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving is preferred.
