Job Overview Edible Arrangements is on the lookout for a motivated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team delivering fruit arrangements. In this role, you'll be the friendly face that ensures our customers receive their orders promptly and in perfect condition. This position is all about combining excellent driving skills with outstanding customer service to create a positive experience every time. Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers across various routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining accurate delivery records. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary, to ensure products are handled carefully and securely. Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns with clear communication. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, helping to boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of your vehicle to ensure safety and reliability on the road. Follow proper route planning techniques using GPS or maps to optimize delivery efficiency and reduce delays. Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is highly preferred. Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations, invoices, and basic route planning. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools to ensure efficient deliveries. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while loading or unloading goods as needed. Organizational skills for managing delivery schedules, paperwork, and vehicle maintenance logs. Background in military service is a plus, demonstrating discipline, reliability, and strong work ethic.
