Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Package Delivery Driver (Contract), where you will play a vital role in delivering packages efficiently and reliably to customers across Forest Park. Duties Pick up packages from designated warehouse and deliver them promptly to customers' addresses using your own vehicle. Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery speed and minimize delays. Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery, ensuring a positive experience. Handle packages carefully, verifying contents and delivery details to prevent errors. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including timestamps and recipient signatures when required. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure secure transportation at all times. Report any delivery issues or delays promptly to the dispatch team for resolution. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of local routes and navigation tools. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Prior experience in food service or similar roles that require promptness and attention to detail is a plus. Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple deliveries efficiently throughout the day. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle suitable for carrying packages securely. Knowledge of safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe delivery practices.
