Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver holding a Non-Commercial Driver's License to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your enthusiasm for driving, customer service, and manual handling will contribute to a seamless delivery experience. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices. Manage route driving efficiently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and communication to optimize delivery schedules. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction. Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including inventory management, moving items within the warehouse, and supporting warehouse staff. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with heavy lifting and weight handling policies. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs of load & unload activities, delivery confirmations, and incident reports. Experience Previous delivery driver experience is highly preferred, especially with courier or non-commercial driving roles involving box trucks or personal vehicles. Demonstrated warehouse experience with manual handling, moving heavy loads, and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Familiarity with driving a manual transmission vehicle is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices is essential for compliance and safety. Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring route driving, load & unload procedures, and adherence to safety standards.
