Job Summary:

We are seeking an individual with a good driving record for our position of Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers and ensuring timely deliveries. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or hand trucks
• Verify the accuracy of orders by comparing them with delivery invoices or manifests
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher or supervisor
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs, manifests, or customer signatures, is completed accurately and promptly
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from customers in a professional manner
• Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
• Warehouse duties, assist in keeping warehouse organized and duties as assigned by warehouse supervisor

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
• Proficient in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts or reach trucks
• Strong physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle maintenance
