This is not a driving-only position—drivers are also expected to prepare food, work the grill, operate the POS system, serve customers, clean, and assist with all food truck duties. CML is a fast-paced food truck company serving premium lobster rolls, seafood dishes, and other Maine-inspired menu items at different locations and events. This is a hands-on, on-the-road position—not an office job. Team members help prepare food, serve customers, operate the point-of-sale system, stock supplies, and clean the truck.

Compensation Food Truck Driver:

$20-$30 per hour

Crew Member:

$15-$20 per hour Pay depends on experience, availability, qualifications, and position. Food Truck Driver Drivers perform the same food preparation and customer-service duties as crew members, while also being responsible for operating and transporting the food truck. Drivers generally arrive at the commissary approximately three hours before the scheduled service time to: Inspect, stock, and prepare the truck Pick up the truck from the commissary Drive safely to the assigned location Set up the truck for service Prepare and serve food during the shift Operate the register and assist customers Clean and restock the truck Return the truck safely to the commissary A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. Crew Member Crew members perform all food-service and operational duties but are not responsible for driving the truck .

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and cooking menu items Taking customer orders and operating the register Providing friendly and professional customer service Setting up and closing the truck Stocking food, beverages, and supplies Maintaining a clean and organized work area Washing dishes and cleaning equipment Following food-safety and health-department requirements Assisting wherever needed during busy shifts Requirements Dependable, punctual, and ready to work Comfortable working inside a busy food truck Available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and changing schedules Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Food-service experience is preferred but not required Food-handler certification, or willingness to obtain one Drivers must have a valid license and clean driving record Employment history, references, background, and driving record may be verified as permitted by law Benefits Paid training Relocation assistance may be available Opportunity for additional hours and advancement
