LifeServe Blood Center is currently seeking interested candidates for a part-time Product Management Driver opening at our Sioux City, IA location. Product Management Drivers are responsible for transporting blood products and/or specimens between service hospitals and fixed sites. Success in this role requires a commitment to quality and timely service to our customers in a courteous manner. This position will transport supplies back and forth from customers within our region of Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska. Primary Responsibilities of this
Position Include:
Provide transportation for blood products, blood samples and supplies in a manner that ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies Report vehicle issues to and coordinates repairs or maintenance with the appropriate individuals Report any situations that may have impacted product, sample or supply quality Report any work related accidents or injuries to the appropriate individuals Maintains cleanliness of vehicle Maintains regular attendance and availability Maintains confidentiality of LifeServe Blood Center donor, employee, financial and proprietary records and information at all times Meet expectations regarding scheduled pickups/deliveries and on-call hours
Hours:
Hours will be variable with most shifts occurring Monday
  • Friday; approximately 0-20 hours/week. Scheduled hours can be anytime from 5:00 A.M.
  • 10:00 P.
M. Additional runs will be taken as able. Rotating on-call hours.
Compensation:
Wages starting around $18.75/hr. Night shift differential of $4.00/hr when working 6pm
  • 6am Weekend shift differential of $2.
00/hr Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required A valid driver's license and motor vehicle report (MVR) that meets insurability requirements One-year previous driving/delivery experience
