Medicap LTC in Waterloo, IA is searching for a part-time delivery driver. This position delivers medications to various homes within 90 mile radius. Qualified candidate must be able to drive in normal as well as winter weather conditions, be able to lift 40-50 pounds and maintain delivery logs. Work Schedule Monday through Friday evenings, 10 - 15 hours per week. Some Saturdays starting at 4:00 pm until all deliveries are complete. One on-call weekend per month. Responsibilities Drive a vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and deliver goods such as medications, devices, forms or pick up items. May also obtain signatures and collect payments upon delivery. Tasks Drive vehicles in order to deliver medications, supplies, deposits, or other items or pick up items Obtain signatures upon delivery May need to use phones, and basic electronic devices Listen to and resolve customers' complaints regarding products or services Maintain vehicles and clean inside and outside of vehicles routinely Requirements A high-school diploma or equivalent A valid driver's license in good standing with minimal to no driving violations Ability to lift 50 lbs or more from floor into or out of delivery vehicle Employment contingent upon successful completion of background and driving record checks.
