Job Description
Jimmy John's on Fairview and Milwaukee is hiring for delivery drivers. As a delivery driver, you will be the one that gets the customer's food out of our store and to the customer's door. You'll use your knowledge of the area and your friendly customer service skill to deliver not only lunch or dinner, but a smile and a great experience to our customers. You'll also help out in the store with cleaning and customer service when needed. Short shift or long shift? We do it all! We will work with you to get the schedule you want. Block scheduling means you will always know your schedule - no waiting! Just ask in your interview for a complete list of our employee benefits. Required Skills Must be at least 18 years old. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a customer-first mindset. Completion of the current training program set forth by the local market's operation. Obtains any food handler's permit or certification required by the local health department or applicable local laws and requirements. Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery per local company policy. Registration and insurance must be in the employee's name that of a legal relative or spouse with signed permission by the insurance/registration holder. Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards. Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within a designated delivery area. Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product. Ability to learn and retain the entire menu in order to provide accurate customer service
