Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and hardworking Supplier Runner / Delivery Driver / Yard Associate to join our team. The primary goal of this position is to help keep material flowing efficiently between our suppliers, yard, and customers. This role is heavily focused on daily supplier pickups, restocking inventory, supporting customer orders, and helping maintain fast turnaround times for deliveries and contractor needs.
A typical day may involve:
Helping in the yard during the morning Loading trucks and staging materials Making an early delivery if needed Running to suppliers around 10am to pick up materials for stock and customer orders Returning to assist with deliveries and yard operations throughout the remainder of the day This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, moving quickly, solving problems, and working independently while still being part of a team. The priority of this role is: Supplier pickups and material flow Deliveries Yard support and operations Responsibilities Run daily pickups from local suppliers for inventory and customer orders Safely deliver building materials to local job sites and customers Operate company flatbed trucks ranging from 12'-20' Operate forklifts and truck-mounted forklifts safely and efficiently Load, unload, and secure building materials properly Learn the layout of the yard and product locations Occasionally load your own truck depending on workflow and scheduling Assist with staging and organizing loads before deliveries Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient yard Support overall yard operations when deliveries and supplier runs are complete Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable driving flatbed trucks and hauling building materials Comfortable operating forklifts and willing to learn truck-mounted forklifts Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the day Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Willingness to learn products, yard layout, and daily operations General knowledge of building materials is strongly preferred Ability to lift and move building materials throughout the day Additional Information This position does not require a CDL, but experience around trucks, trailers, forklifts, or building materials is highly preferred.
