Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mail Carrier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle physical tasks associated with mail delivery. Duties Deliver mail and packages to assigned routes in a timely manner. Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and manual transmission vehicles, ensuring safe driving practices at all times. Load and unload mail and packages from delivery vehicles, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring that all items are handled with care. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring proper documentation is completed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from recipients. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and address any logistical challenges that may arise. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving of packages throughout the day. Previous experience in courier services or related fields is a plus. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with recipients. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
