Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work in various environments. This is part time with the possibility of full time. Duties Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload materials safely, utilizing proper techniques to avoid damage or spillage. Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and site requirements. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including material types, quantities, and delivery times. Perform basic maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluid levels and reporting mechanical issues. Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a CLEAN driving record. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues is a plus. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and site supervisors. Previous experience in paving or construction-related roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
