Job Description

Job Summary The Driver plays a vital role in facilitating daily deliveries on a designated route within the state of Colorado. This position is responsible for delivering cases and/or bottles to assigned accounts based on invoices within Encompass™ and paper copies provided by MMK Logistics. The driver will be provided with a truck, cellphone, clipboard, gas card, bank pouch, and handcart, which must be returned daily.

Class C Drivers Only Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Route:
Follow the designated route and deliver the designated products to assigned accounts. Adhere to the delivery schedule and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Communication of Discrepancies:
In the event of a refusal, account closure, cancellation, or any circumstances that prevent delivery, promptly communicate the discrepancy to MMK Logistics manager. regarding any issues encountered during deliveries.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Take photos of the delivered product inside each account, the signed customer invoice, any checks received, and insert the receiver's name into Encompass™ (typed and signed). Maintain accurate documentation for proof of delivery.
Additional Pickups:
Complete any unscheduled pickups or purchase orders that are not part of the designated route, as notified by MMK Logistics management. Perform these pickups efficiently and accurately.
Discrepancy Reporting:
Communicate any discrepancies or issues that occur on the designated route promptly to MMK Logistics management. Do not delay reporting discrepancies until returning to the MMK Logistics facility.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Refuel the MMK Logistics vehicle before returning to the facility. Ensure that the . Sweep out the trailer of the vehicle daily. Adherence to
Policies:
Follow the MMK Logistics Breakage Policy to minimize product damage and ensure proper handling during deliveries.
Reporting Structure:
Report to the Warehouse Manager Day Shift throughout the day for coordination and reporting. When returning from daily deliveries, report to the Warehouse Manager Night Shift for truck check-in. In the absence of the Warehouse Manager Day Shift or Warehouse Manager Night Shift, report to the General Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. CDL not required. Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Customer service skills with each account and their employees. Familiarity with the state of Colorado and its road networks is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and MMK Logistics management. Attention to detail and accuracy in delivering the correct products to designated accounts. Must be able to lift and maneuver a high volume of cases of product per day from 20 - 45 lbs per case repeatedly during a long work period. Requires regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping as the product is moved on-truck and delivered into customer locations. Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes. Responsible and reliable, with a strong sense of accountability. Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized vehicle. Availability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends, as required by delivery schedules.
