•We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused, pickup and delivery driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting customer vehicles between their designated locations and our dealership, working closely with service department management to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality service. Job Duties:
Pick up and drop off customer vehicles in a safe, secure, and timely manner following Ford's strict guidelines. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are handled with care and maintained in pristine condition throughout the service. Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures while operating a vehicle. Interact professionally and courteously with customers, representing the dealership and the Ford brand. Communicate with the Remote Experience Manager and Service Manager regarding schedule updates, route adjustments, or issues that may affect service delivery. Provide real-time updates to customers about vehicle pickup or delivery times and changes that may occur. Follow the optimized routes and schedules as directed by management. Assist in documenting any service issues or customer feedback to help improve customer satisfaction and operations. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the assigned vehicle, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Work closely with dealership team members to ensure a seamless, efficient service process.
Job Requirements:
Excellent customer service skills. Well-groomed and professional appearance with a strong work ethic. Ability to multitask and ability to adapt in quick changing environment. Organized, ambitious self-starter and enthusiastic presence in a team environment. Able to drive a manual transmission preferred, but not required. Must be at least 21 and have a valid driver's license with excellent driving record. Work Environment Primarily based in and around the dealership with extensive on-road driving. Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform vehicle inspections and handle light physical tasks such as moving documents or small vehicle parts (up to 25 pounds). Extended periods of driving and occasionally standing or walking during vehicle pickups and drop offs. We have an aggressive marketing and advertising program with an excellent pay plan and large vehicle inventory all encompassed by a fun work environment.
Benefits:
Starting pay at $15/hr with a review after the 90-day probation period.
