Job Description

We value teamwork, safety, and exceptional service to meet our clients' needs. Summary We are looking for Independent Contractors for local routes that run Monday to Friday. This role involves delivering auto parts efficiently while upholding our commitment to excellent customer service and safety standards. I/C will load orders into their Van, deliver store to store until all orders are completed. Routes range from 2 stops to 8 stops daily (3 hours to 7 hours). Mileage ranges from 120/day to 270/day. Route starts and stops in Mount Vernon, with stops in Vandalia, Litchfield, Hillsboro, Greenville, Carlyle and Centralia. •Vans or Large SUVs must be provided by the contractor. Capstone does not provide vehicles! Route- Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 3:45pm Responsibilities I/C owned and operated Minivans to transport auto parts to various locations. Ensure timely delivery by planning efficient routes. Load and unload goods with proper handling techniques. Maintain accurate delivery documentation. Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries. Follow all safety regulations and customer specific policies. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues. Collaborate with dispatch to coordinate deliveries. Qualifications Valid driver's license and/or relevant driving experience. Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks. Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools. Strong communication skills. Dependability and punctuality. Experience operating Mini/Cargo Vans or similar vehicles is preferred.
