In this position the Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, compliant, and timely transportation of cannabis products from the facility to dispensaries and/or wholesale partners. This role ensures that all deliveries are completed in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations, and all applicable state and local laws. The Delivery Driver plays a vital role in maintaining the company's professional image by providing reliable service, safeguarding product integrity, and adhering to all security protocols during transit. Essential Functions
  • Safely transport cannabis products to designated dispensaries and/or wholesale accounts in compliance with CCC regulations and company SOPs.
  • Accurately verify and maintain delivery manifests, invoices, and supporting documentation for each delivery.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload cannabis products in accordance with security protocols.
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, making adjustments when necessary to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring vehicles remain clean, safe, and compliant.
  • Maintain communication with the Vault Lead and dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or concerns.
  • Report on all product discrepancies, incidents, or security issues immediately in accordance with company policy.
Protect sensitive company and customer information by maintaining strict confidentiality. Provide professional and courteous customer service when representing the company at delivery locations. Support daily delivery operations, including preparation, check-in, and reconciliation of delivery materials. Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and compliance. Experience Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete accurate logs, manifests, and reports.
  • Comfortable driving for extended periods and navigating a variety of delivery routes.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor. Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous delivery experience, especially in a regulated industry Familiarity with CCC compliance requirements for cannabis transportation.
  • Knowledge of inventory tracking systems such as Dutchie and Metrc.
  • Experience operating company fleet vehicles in urban and rural environments. Education and Professional Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to successfully pass a state-mandated background check annually.
  • Must maintain compliance with all state cannabis transportation requirements and company policies.
  • Demonstrated high-level critical thinking, attention to detail, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills.
  • Comfortable performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
  • Physical Requirements and Working conditions: Frequent driving, sitting, entering, and exiting vehicles throughout the workday.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling packages up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in varied weather and road conditions.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
Work performed in compliance-driven, secure, and monitored environments. Must be at least 21 years of age , as required by applicable cannabis regulations. Must be able to successfully complete all required background checks and satisfy applicable state cannabis regulatory requirements for employment.
