Job Description

Pride Medical Equipment is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Technician to deliver and set up home medical equipment for patients. The role involves transporting, assembling, and demonstrating products such as hospital beds, scooters, rollators, and wheelchairs in patients' homes. This is a part-time/per diem opportunity ideal for candidates looking for flexible hours and meaningful work supporting patient care in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely deliver, install, and set up home medical equipment including hospital beds, wheelchairs, rollators, and scooters. Instruct patients and caregivers on the safe use and basic maintenance of the equipment. Ensure timely, courteous, and professional customer service during all interactions. Inspect and test equipment for cleanliness and functionality before and after delivery. Complete delivery documentation using company-provided tools (paper or digital). Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and storage area. Comply with HIPAA guidelines and infection control procedures.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and safely move bulky items. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience with medical equipment delivery or healthcare-related customer service is a plus. Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Must be comfortable entering patient homes and working independently.

Flexible shifts Weekday and occasional weekend availability preferred On-call or same-day requests may occur (per diem only)
