Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering appliances safely and efficiently to customers' homes, installing and configuring a variety of appliances, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the process. Your technical skills, mechanical knowledge, and commitment to safety will ensure smooth operations and satisfied clients. Duties Safely operate company delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Load, unload, and transport appliances using hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as dollies and lift gates Install a wide range of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site using mechanical knowledge Assemble appliances as needed using ladder use, hand tools, and power tools to ensure proper setup and functionality Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring complete satisfaction with the installation process Experience Proven experience in appliance installation or field service roles with a focus on repair, maintenance, or operations (MRO) Strong background in electrical work, HVAC systems, plumbing, or mechanical repair is highly preferred Experience operating delivery vehicles such as box trucks or similar large vehicles with company vehicle operation certification preferred Familiarity with schematics, ladder use for troubleshooting or installation tasks, and equipment repair techniques Previous delivery driver experience demonstrating safe driving practices in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of appliance repair procedures combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for assembly and troubleshooting Customer service experience with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, technical expertise, and outstanding customer experiences.
