In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages during overnight hours, ensuring timely arrivals and exceptional customer service. Your dedication will help keep our operations running smoothly while providing a positive experience for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills, manual handling expertise, and commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment. Duties Safely operate box trucks with liftgate to deliver goods across designated routes during overnight shifts Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws to ensure safe driving at all times Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and document deliveries accurately using mobile devices or electronic logging systems Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety inspections before and after each shift Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally and addressing customer inquiries politely Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving material handling and moving Ability to operate commercial trucks with manual transmission and utilize manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks Strong knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and safe lifting practices for heavy loads Familiarity with warehouse experience including load & unload procedures and warehouse operations Excellent driving record with commercial truck driving or van driver experience preferred Competence in using mobile devices for navigation, delivery documentation, and communication Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of moving throughout shifts Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving expertise fuels our success!
