Job Description

Madison County beer and beverage distributor seeking a reliable and customer-focused Route Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations, and maintaining a clean driving record. Efficiently deliver beverage orders to retail stores, restaurants, and other customer locations within assigned routes. Build positive relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Rotate product inventory to ensure freshness and prevent waste, following FIFO (first in, first out) principles. Collect payment or invoices as required and accurately complete necessary documentation. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling and storage of beverages, as well as lifting and carrying heavy loads.
Qualifications:
Valid License with "For Hire" endorsement with a clean driving record. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic rules and regulations. Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and store personnel. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pound cases repetitively, maneuver kegs weighing up to 180 lbs. and perform other physically demanding tasks. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy in order delivery and product merchandising. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules. Familiarity with handheld devices or technology used for tracking orders and managing inventory is a plus.
