Our mission is to improve lives, support local communities, and protect the environment through responsible donation, recycling, and upcycling efforts. Overview We are seeking a motivated Part-Time Driver / Lugger to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various trucks, assisting with the loading and unloading of items, and ensuring efficient junk removal services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainability initiatives while gaining valuable driving and manual handling experience. Responsibilities Safely operate front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbed vehicles with manual transmissions Load and unload items efficiently using mechanical knowledge of different truck types and lifting techniques Drive to customer locations and navigate urban or rural routes confidently and responsibly Assist customers with heavy lifting and proper handling of items to ensure safety and damage prevention Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of vehicles and work sites throughout each shift Complete all necessary documentation for deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections accurately Support team members in coordinating logistics for multiple jobs daily Skills Mechanical knowledge of various truck types including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles with a focus on safety and efficiency Strong driving skills with a clean driving record preferred Physical strength for heavy lifting and load handling in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with load & unload procedures using different truck mechanisms Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers Join us in making a positive impact on the environment while developing your driving expertise!
