Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commissary Delivery Driver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products from our commissary to various locations. This energetic position offers an opportunity to showcase your driving skills, manual handling expertise, and customer service talents. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods using a company box truck, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations while providing exceptional service to our partner locations. Your dedication will help keep our supply chain moving smoothly and reliably. This role will be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday delivery for Part Time Driver. This role will be Tuesday through Saturday delivery with Sunday and Monday off for Full Time Driver. However, a few days a week would be working in a commissary location or partner location. The working hours will be as early as 6:00 am and as late as 5:00 pm during delivery days. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks to deliver commissary products across designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals. Load and unload items using manual handling techniques and roller racks Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, route schedules, and delivery protocols to maximize efficiency and safety. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with all employees during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns courteously. Maintain accurate delivery logs Assist with store operations when needed, including moving inventory and supporting staff with material handling tasks. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations involving material handling and moving goods. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or courier services highly preferred. Ability to operate vehicles such as box trucks confidentially Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling procedures. Experience using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, or communication purposes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally during deliveries. Physical capability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform manual handling tasks safely throughout shifts. Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis without any assistance
