Job Description

Epic Concrete is seeking a reliable and responsible CDL driver to transport materials and supplies to our job sites using a
MANUEL 8 SPEED DUMP TRUCK.
This is a seasonal position, typically running through late September or October. Employment duration may vary based on weather conditions and business needs. There is an opportunity to return next season. Company Vehicle Policy Epic Concrete provides the company truck and covers all fuel expenses for work-related travel. Employees are required to pick up the company truck at our Valparaiso location at the beginning of each workday and return it at the end of the day. The company truck is to be used for work purposes only. Employees are expected to operate the vehicle safely and follow all traffic laws. Job Duties Pick up dump truck from our Valparaiso location every morning. Pick up construction materials from supplies and warehouses. Deliver and drop off materials safely and efficiently. Operate the company truck in a safe and responsible manner. Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle. Communicate with office, owner, and team regarding deliveries, schedules and any issues that arise during the work day.
Pay and Schedule Pay Rate:
up to $20.00+ per hour
Schedule:
3-5 days per week Typical work hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday. Start and end times may vary depending on job site needs and weather conditions.
Service areas are:
Lake County, Porter County and La Porte County. Employees are paid weekly, every Friday. Payment is issued by paper check and a detailed pay stub is provided with each payment for your records. All required payroll taxes are withheld in accordance with state and federal law.

$15.00 - $22.00 per hour
