Part-Time Van Driver / Patient Transport Warsaw Meadows Care Center - Warsaw, IN Warsaw Meadows Care Center is seeking a dependable Part-Time Van Driver / Patient Transport team member to join our skilled nursing facility in Warsaw, IN. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and providing compassionate, reliable transportation. You will safely transport residents to and from physician appointments, dialysis treatments, and other scheduled outings while ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout each trip. Schedule Part-Time Flexible daily schedule required Hours are not set and will vary based on resident appointment times and transportation needs Responsibilities Safely operate the facility vehicle to transport residents to and from appointments, dialysis, and other scheduled destinations Escort and assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle safely Ensure residents arrive at appointments on time and remain comfortable throughout transportation Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding transportation schedules and resident needs Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the transportation vehicle Follow all facility safety policies and applicable transportation regulations Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service to residents throughout each trip Qualifications Active valid driver's license required CDL or chauffeur's license is not required Clean driving record preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule based on varying resident appointment times Ability to work comfortably and compassionately with the senior population Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs Previous experience transporting patients, seniors, or working in healthcare is a plus CNA certification preferred, but not required Benefits - Part-Time Eligible Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage Telemedicine Program Company-Paid Group Life Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability 401(k) Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter Benefits Paid Time Off (vacation, personal, sick, and state sick leave) DailyPay - Access your earned pay when you need it Education Assistance Up to $5,250 per year toward tuition assistance• Up to $2,625 per year toward repayment of qualifying non-federal student loans• Benefits and eligibility may vary based on applicable state law, employment classification, and length of service.
