We are looking for a Route Delivery Driver to perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work as well as work independently and/or with a crew, to stage, load, and unload HVAC sheet metal product and raw materials for customers. Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Timely transportation of product form origin to destination as assigned. Accurately pulls and stages orders for customers. Ability to efficiently and effectively load and unload trucks with finished product. Must have valid driver's license with ability to meet driver safety standards required by Company insurance carrier. Must be able to obtain or currently have a DOT Medical card. Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations. Must meet company standards for attendance and punctuality. Operates powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) and/or other equipment necessary to carry out essential functions. - training onsite. Ability to clearly communicate information to customers, co-workers, and management. Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records and other records required by law and Company policy. Must operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) in a safe manner. Wears the proper Personal Protection Equipment depending on nature of job assignment. - company provided. Participates in yearly physical inventory. Performs periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial/housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock and area surrounding building, keeping floors clear of debris, and assisting in daily closing down of warehouse.

Skills:

1 years of related experience working in warehousing or a similar HVAC industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred. 6 months of related route delivery driving experience. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight loading areas. Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Forklift certification and ability to operate forklift effectively, a plus. Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner to develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, co-workers, and management. Environment requires constant walking, standing, and lifting/moving product up to 50 pounds.
