HOMESTEAD
Nutrition Project is a non-profit organization that provides meals to individuals 60 years or older. We strive to make delicious and nutritious meals to help keep seniors healthy so that they can continue living an independent life. We offer meals three different ways. We offer a congregate meal other wise known as a dine-in setting, we offer a pick-up meal option, and for those who are home bound, they can call our office and discuss a home delivered meal option. The seniors in the local community rely on these meals to stay healthy - mentally and physically. The work that you would do within this program would be satisfying, very rewarding and much appreciated by those in your local community.
HOMESTEAD
Nutrition Project is looking for a bulk and home delivery driver to join our team at the Osborne nutrition site. Someone with a positive attitude who wants to make a difference in the lives of older adults is preferred. We are looking for someone with good energy and who has a passion working in community services and enjoys helping people. This position is nice for someone who strives for that work/life balance by having their workday done by the afternoon.
Immediate Supervisor:
Site Manager Qualifications:
Should have a special interest in serving and working with older adults. The ability to work cooperatively and in harmony with others. The ability and interest to study and understand the overall nutrition program. Should be in good health and of neat and clean appearance. Have a reliable vehicle that can hold multiple coolers Driver's License Ability to lift 50 lbs
Duties & Responsibilities:
Get food from kitchen in Downs and bring to Osborne nutrition site Deliver food to home bound participants in Osborne Hours would be Monday through Friday, during morning/lunch time hours only. NO evenings, NO weekends and NO major holidays worked. Call 785-628-8824 for more info.
