Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items. Experience with warehouse operations and commercial driving is preferred, along with familiarity with box trucks and route driving. Duties Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products to customers and clients across designated routes Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques. Ensure accurate delivery of packages by verifying adresses and delivery location. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries Maintain cleanliness and preform pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving Keep detailed records of deliveries, mileage, and any issues encountered during routes Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred Experience operating box trucks or vehicles larger then pickup trucks Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving items safely up to 150lbs Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills for efficient deliveries Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to delivery schedules Physical stamina for long periods of driving and physical activity involved in loading/unloading tasks
