As a delivery driver, you'll be the friendly face representing our company, delivering smiles along with parcels every day. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices. Navigate assigned routes efficiently using mobile devices for directions and delivery updates, maintaining punctuality throughout your shift. Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses with professionalism, courtesy, and excellent customer service skills. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, complete shift reports, and document any incidents or delays promptly. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations with knowledge of commercial driving and courier services. Strong manual handling skills with experience in heavy lifting, load & unload procedures, and moving materials efficiently. Excellent driving record with adherence to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety protocols at all times. Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills to interact positively with clients.
