ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring for part time delivery driver positions at Warnell Family Pharmacy! Our drivers are responsible for the day-to-day delivering of finished product to customers. The purpose of the Delivery Driver is to deliver medications, services, etc. according to order specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES

customer service skills by greeting customers and providing friendly, courteous service at all times. Be professional in appearance and demeanor Ensure that items are properly stacked and secured inside the delivery vehicle Take delivery instructions from supervisors Chart out appropriate route for delivery on the map or GPS Maintain proper knowledge of loaded items Ensure that appropriate and complete documentation is available at the time of loading Drive vehicle to the point of delivery by using the best possible route Make sure that speed limits and driving laws are adhered to Ensure that the vehicle's paperwork is in order Assist in unloading items off the vehicle in a safe manner Ensure that delivery receipts are signed Collect payments for deliveries made and tend change Fill in pertinent information such as mileage and delivery time in company provided log books Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods Ensure that both general and preventative maintenance measures are performed on the vehicle Change vehicle fluids on a regular basis Clean vehicle from the inside and the outside Perform diagnosis and troubleshooting activities on vehicle when needed Ensure that the delivery schedule is followed Handle invoice discrepancies by informing superiors of problems and complaints Performs other duties as assigned. SKILLS NEEDED
Clean Driving Record Pass Background Check Pass Drug Screenings Display knowledge of essential car maintenance and troubleshooting Strong sense of direction: Be able to read a map and find your way around a delivery area.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, full dexterity in arms and hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds and, occasionally, 75 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee shall be free of any alcohol or non prescribed controlled substance while on duty. In addition, the employee shall be free of any substance, prescribed or otherwise, that impairs the employee's work performance or the safety of others while on duty.
