Transportation is a vital service that requires excellent driving skills, as well as the ability to engage and assist the individuals we serve. Additionally, maintenance support ensures a safe and comfortable environment for our residential clients. This combined role offers meaningful and purposeful work within Pillar.
  • Job Summary:
  • The part-time Driver is responsible for transporting participants on scheduled routes and assisting with daily transportation assignments. This position aims to create a safe, respectful, and pleasant experience for the individuals we serve while also handling routine facility, vehicle, and transportation maintenance tasks assigned each day.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the mission, vision, and philosophy of Pillar.
  • Facilitate positive interactions by demonstrating maturity, respect for others, a team-oriented approach, maintaining confidentiality, and appreciating a multicultural workplace.

  • Participate in appropriate professional development programs to attain and maintain competency.
  • Essential Functions:
  • Essential functions include providing safe transportation, assisting passengers, ensuring vehicle readiness, documenting daily trips, performing routine facility maintenance, reporting safety concerns, and interacting respectfully with the individuals served by Pillar.
  • Hours:
  • This position supports early morning and late afternoon transportation routes, Monday through Friday.
The schedule may be full-time, split shift, or part-time based on operational needs and employee availability. This position reports to the appropriate Transportation Supervisor.

Essential functions include safe transportation, passenger assistance, vehicle readiness, daily trip documentation, routine facility and reporting of safety concerns, and respectful interaction with the people Pillar serves.
Hours:
