All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities The proper care, maintenance and safe operation of equipment to load and unload mail and freight. The accurate delivery of mail and freight to the different departments and areas on campus and the correct processing of outgoing mail and freight. Assist departments with mail and freight questions and concerns. Safely and efficiently load and unload freight. Accurate and timely delivery of freight, mail and packages to campus locations. Pickup outbound shipments from departments, process and adhere the appropriate labels, and load shipment with the appropriate carrier. Schedule and pickup or deliver surplus items, as needed. Assist with Banner Receiving transactions for purchase orders and taggable items as needed. Ability to serve as back-up for bulk mailings and postage items as needed. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements One year of experience driving vehicles or equipment used in warehouse, mail delivery or similar environment required. Previous experience in a customer service environment. Alertness, initiative, attention to accuracy, memory for oral and written directions or details. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to calculate figures such as amount of proportional mail and volume. Must possess a valid driver's license and meet the requirements to operate a university vehicle. Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications Ability to operate a forklift preferred. Hourly Rate/Annual Salary $15.19 (Additional pay dependent upon qualifications)

103 Physical Demands Frequent walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching, heavy lifting and carrying. Regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
