Load, unload, and secure merchandise with care, demonstrating heavy lifting techniques and proper merchandising practices. Communicate clearly with clients during deliveries, building positive relationships through professional client communication. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing sales opportunities during customer interactions. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and route details for organizational purposes. Follow all safety protocols related to automobile transportation, heavy lifting, and commercial driving to ensure a secure work environment. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or retail store delivery is preferred. Strong knowledge of route driving, pricing strategies, and basic math skills for handling transactions or calculations. Excellent communication skills for effective customer relationship building and client communication. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices; physically capable of handling demanding tasks. Familiarity with DOT regulations and commercial driving standards to ensure compliance at all times. Prior experience in retail store environments or merchandising is a plus, demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail.
