Part Time CDL Driver

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused CDL Driver ( Class A or B ) for a part-time role (2-3 days per week). This position offers a flexible schedule and a variety of driving responsibilities, making it an excellent fit for first responders with rotating shifts, retirees, or drivers looking to supplement their income. Drivers in this role will operate a mix of equipment based on daily needs, including swap load trucks, roll-off trucks, 6-wheelers for material delivery, and tractor trailers (Class A drivers only) for hauling materials and equipment between job sites, disposal facilities, and transfer stations. What You'll Do Safely operate a variety of trucks, including: Swap Load (small container delivery) Roll-Off (15-30 yard containers) 6-Wheeler (material deliveries) Tractor Trailer (Class A only - hauling materials, equipment, and long-haul transfers) Hands-On Responsibilities Transport, deliver, and place containers at customer sites Haul materials safely to and from disposal sites, transfer stations, and job locations using tractor trailers (Class A only) Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations Communicate clearly with dispatch on routes, timing, and any changes Secure loads and ensure safe transport at all times Complete logs, tickets, and required documentation accurately Provide professional, customer-friendly service on every stopSafely position and place containers on customer sites Assist with light yard or site tasks as needed Maintain clean and safe work areas What We're Looking For Valid CDL Class A or B License (Class A required for tractor trailer operation) Current DOT Medical Card Clean driving record and strong safety mindset Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable with a flexible, changing daily schedule Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude Ability to perform physical work and work outdoors in all weather conditions Preferred Experience (Not Required) Waste, construction, or similar industry experience Experience with Roll-Off, Hook Lift, Swap Load, or Tractor Trailer equipment Ability to operate multiple truck types Why This Role Works Flexible, part-time schedule (2-3 days/week) Great fit for retirees or supplemental income seekers Ideal for first responders or those with rotating schedules Variety of work - no two days are the same Opportunity to stay active and engaged without full-time commitment Work Environment Frequent climbing in and out of truck cab Lifting, pushing, and pulling moderate to heavy loads Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Fast-paced, safety-focused environment
