Job Description

Overview The Transportation Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of cannabis product to Happy Valley facilities and wholesale partners. The Transportation Technician must follow the assigned delivery route and immediately notify the Logistic manager if, for any reason, changes to the pre-determined route are necessary. In addition to the deliveries, the Transport Tech must be willing and able to assist the inventory and sales teams, as deemed necessary.
Essential Job Functions:
Prior to departure, perform daily vehicle inspection to ensure all mechanical and security systems are operational. Prior to departure, validate that all associated paperwork is accurate, and the correct inventory is pulled / loaded. Follow the predetermined delivery route to securely deliver the items in the vehicle to the appropriate recipient(s). Check-in periodically with the assigned transit supervisor, as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (MA. CCC), and immediately notify them and the Logistics Manager of any unscheduled stop and/or deviation from the predetermined route. Promptly relay any relevant delivery notes to the Logistics Manager before, during, or after the delivery. Ensure departmental compliance detailed within Happy Valley's internal policies and mandated by state and local laws, rules, and regulations. Ensure adherence to hygiene and sanitation guidelines per internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Prevent the diversion of cannabis to anyone other than authorized recipients. Maintain the overall appearance, organization, and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle. Willing and able to perform other misc. duties, as assigned by the Logistics manager.

Excellent communication and customer service skills. Clean driving record. High school diploma or GED. Basic computer and smartphone competency. Must adhere to the MA. CCC hiring guidelines. Desired skills Previous delivery experience preferred. Prior experience working within the cannabis industry preferred. Preferred seniority
