Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Catering Delivery Driver and be the vital link that ensures our delicious offerings reach our clients promptly and professionally! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for delivering catering orders with enthusiasm, ensuring each delivery is handled with care, accuracy, and exceptional customer service. Your role is essential in creating memorable experiences for our clients by providing reliable, friendly, and efficient delivery services. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy driving while making a positive impact, this opportunity is perfect for you! In this role, you will be a 1099 employee that works on catering tips which will be guaranteed at a minimum of $29 per delivery but most times higher. Several of our customer frequently tip in the 50-$100+ per delivery range. Most deliveries are within a 20-25 minute drive from Marlborough. There is no regular schedule but rather it's dependent on catering orders which range from 1 or 2 per week to 5 or 6 per week on average. Duties Safely operate your own vehicle to deliver catering orders across designated routes Load and unload food and catering supplies using equipment such as wheeled carts. Ensure all deliveries are accurate, complete, and on time by following planned routes and schedules Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing any concerns during delivery Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies Complete delivery documentation accurately, including logs of deliveries made and any issues encountered Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving familiarity in busy environments Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly, demonstrating physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and moving tasks Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and proper vehicle maintenance procedures Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification preferred Ability to follow detailed routes efficiently while managing time effectively Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving skills meet exceptional service!
