Floral Clerk 10am-2pm All holiday weeks this schedule is on blackout. Because of demand all employees work until the job is done. As a team, we help each other to work as normal a schedule as possible. What you'll do In the shop (clerk/floral support):- Greet customers, answer phones, and help with walk-in orders
- Take orders accurately (card messages, delivery info, substitutions)
- Help with light floral tasks (some floral experience preferred)
- Keep the shop clean, stocked, and welcoming including front and back
- Water, prune and care for plants On deliveries (driver):
- Box arrangements for delivery
- Deliver arrangements carefully and professionally
- Keep deliveries organized and communicate clearly with the shop
- Handle flowers/vases safely (lifting/carrying as needed)
- Representing the shop in a cheerful and professional manner always
- Driving with courtesy What we're looking for:
- Strong customer service skills (retail/hospitality experience is great)
- Some floral experience preferred (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Dependable, punctual, and calm under pressure
- Valid driver's license and comfortable driving locally and occasionally in Boston and highways
- Able to lift/carry typical floral deliveries and upto 50lbs
Pay:
$15.00- $20.
