The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. The Truck Driver will operate box trucks, manage delivery routes, and ensure timely deliveries to our customers using hand trucks. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck for deliveries and pickups. 26,000 GVW trucks, no CDL required. Valid driver's license and DOT health card (or willing to obtain one) Deliver Boxes of wine and alcohol to restaurants and liquor stores. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Follow designated delivery routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Assist in warehouse tasks when not on the road, including inventory management and organization and unloading shipping containers Handle heavy lifting and moving of goods as required by the job. Must be able to use hand truck and descend truck ramps safely. Must be at least 21 years old to handle alcohol deliveries. Experience Proven experience as a Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices is essential. Experience with route driving, delivery driving, or courier services is highly valued. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, especially with loading/unloading procedures. Strong customer service skills are necessary for effective communication with clients. Experience with heavy lifting, moving goods, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks will be beneficial.
