A Sales Delivery Driver drives a truck or other vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and sells or delivers goods, such as food products, including restaurant take-out items, or pick up or deliver items such as commercial laundry. May also take orders, collect payment, or stock merchandise at point of delivery. Includes newspaper delivery drivers. Excludes gig economy drivers.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming merchandise and shipments
- Move products throughout the store, warehouse,
- Prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery.
- Load and secure products for delivery
- Make local deliveries safely and professionally
- Assist customers with loading purchases when needed
- Maintain an organized and clean receiving, warehouse.
- Operate carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment as appropriate.
- Verify quantities and condition of merchandise received
- Assist with inventory organization.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Perform other retail and delivery duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, warehouse, delivery, or customer service experience preferred
- Valid driver's license, CDL, Forklift Certified, and good driving record
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a retail, warehouse environment
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy lifting is required
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs. and occasionally heavier items with appropriate assistance
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving merchandise
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
