Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage delivery schedules effectively to ensure timely arrivals at customer locations. Assist with loading and unloading merchandise, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures. Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing any delivery concerns with clear communication skills. Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including route logs, receipts, and inventory records. Organize daily routes efficiently using route driving and merchandising skills to maximize productivity. Experience Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services preferred; a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations and basic inventory management. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members. Knowledge of route planning, route driving techniques, and organizational skills to optimize daily deliveries. Experience in upselling or sales roles is a plus, demonstrating the ability to identify customer needs proactively. Background in military service or disciplined environments is advantageous due to the emphasis on safety and organizational skills.
