$18.75/hr Opus Inspection, Inc. is a software and electronic hardware-driven global leader in the Automotive Technology Service industry. Our mission is to make the world a cleaner and safer place by providing highly effective solutions for Vehicle Inspection through innovative technologies, customer focus and operational excellence. Opus' technologies and services help our state partners meet strict US EPA Clean Air regulations by managing vehicle inspection programs, Vehicle Information Databases, and developing differentiated solutions for remote vehicle monitoring. This position is responsible for the control and delivery of the MA inspection stickers to the inspection stations who perform vehicle inspections for the Massachusetts Vehicle Check Program.
Job Duties:
Visit inspection stations in company vehicles for deliveries, while maintaining a strict accounting for inspection stickers. Independently plan daily delivery routes that are both efficient and focused on stations deemed a priority. Complete necessary paperwork, report on assigned work and assist in the completion of records, reports and other documents. Maintain, safely use, secure and account for company-owned property (i.e. cell phone, computer(s), vehicle). Follow processes for the creation, completion, and delivery of all inspection-sticker related materials. Perform other tasks as assigned/required to ensure the smooth operation of the program. Periodically assist with the company's continual improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives, including participation in the company's Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must be detail-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication skills in order to maintain a professional and helpful demeanor. Ability to adapt to changes in priorities and respond quickly to management needs and requests. Ability to stoop, bend, reach, climb and lift objects up to 40 lbs. Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment Able to analyze individual situations and make on spot decisions, including when to seek assistance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent and Valid driver's license with good driving record. Previous delivery experience helpful.
