We are a distributor based in Tyngsboro, MA looking for a CDL Class A or B licensed driver to travel to golf courses, athletic fields, schools, and municipalities around New England. This position presents the unique opportunity of a different route every day, including traveling to some of the most beautiful parts of the region. Tom Irwin, Inc. is a local, family-based company established in 1960 and continues today as an innovative, client-focused company known across the green industry as a model for turf and ornamental product distribution. As of 2026, our Sales, Advisory, Operational, and Administrative team is made up of 32 dedicated employees that serve over 450 professional grounds managers across New England. Hours 40 hours per week with OT frequently available. First Shift daily hours Monday-Friday. Our drivers typically hit the road between 4:30 AM and 6:30 AM depending on their route. We deliver to all 6 New England States, and daily routes can range from approximately 1-6 stops, depending on volume and distance. Typical daily travel ranges from 100-400 miles. Pay/Benefits $40 per hour to start. December Holiday Break -Tom Irwin closes operations the week of Christmas allowing our team time to spend with their families. We pay our employees 40 hours for this week off. Training Approximately 3 weeks of on-the-road training with our team of veteran drivers. Requirements CDL Class A or B License with clean driving record Positive attitude, enjoys interaction with clients Willingness to accommodate client requests while on-site Enjoys travel across New England and Westchester County, NY Ability to learn how to operate forklifts and truck-mounted Moffetts Daily loading/unloading of your truck with forklift or electric pallet jack Ability to lift up to 70 lbs Ability to maintain compliant and accurate travel logs Fleet Our current fleet consists of (4) Kenworth curtain-side trucks with mounted Moffetts, (1) non CDL box truck with an electric pallet jack, and (1) van for smaller deliveries. You should expect to make deliveries in all three types of vehicles throughout the year.
