Job Summary Join our dynamic delivery team as a 1099 Delivery Driver! Schedule:
Monday- Sunday (7 days a week) Responsibilities Safely operate a Sprinter van to deliver packages across designated routes, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, ensuring safe lifting practices and proper weight distribution Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining high safety standards Assist with the manual handling of packages, including heavy lifting and moving items Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with recipients and addressing any delivery concerns Follow proper procedures for load securing, weight handling in the workplace, and safe moving practices during deliveries Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and load management Warehouse experience or familiarity with commercial driving environments is highly desirable Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques, safe lifting practices, and manual handling procedures Familiarity with DOT regulations related to commercial driving and weight handling in the workplace Customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining safety standards This role offers an energetic environment where your driving skills and dedication to safety make a real difference.
- Valid driver's license
- High-roof cargo van, such as a Sprinter, Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, or similar vehicle
