Job Description

SUMMARY:
This position requires an individual to safely drive a roll off truck to customer locations. This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, customer Service and Employee Teamwork. Making deliveries in all type of weather and conditions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Responsible for driving roll off truck and containers to and from jobsites. Haul and dispose of contents in various landfills throughout the Delmarva Peninsula. Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations. Ability to work outdoors in various weather and driving conditions. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with existing and potential customers. Flexibility to work outside of basic job description. Excellent customer service skills Desire to succeed and advance in a team environment.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug test. Minimum 2-year CDL license
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is responsible for reading scheduled routes, loading and unloading roll off cans from a commercial vehicle and operating a vehicle on public roads. This position requires a CDL license with less than two points. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, pull, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally pull, lift and/or move objects up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
