Job Description
Overview Addis Axis Logistics is a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) dedicated to delivering packages safely, efficiently, and with exceptional customer service. Join our dynamic delivery team as a Delivery Associate, where your energy and dedication will drive our success! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers, ensuring a positive experience with every interaction. Whether you're experienced in driving commercial vehicles or eager to develop your skills in logistics and delivery, this role is perfect for motivated individuals ready to make an impact. Duties Safely operate a company-provided delivery van. Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers. Use a handheld device for navigation, route management, and delivery confirmation. Load, organize, and unload packages for daily delivery routes. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies. Navigate a variety of delivery routes in different weather conditions. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing Addis Axis Logistics. Work independently while meeting productivity and customer service goals. Assist fellow team members when needed to ensure successful daily operations. Requirements Lift, push, pull, and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently enter and exit the delivery vehicle throughout the day. Walk up and down stairs and drive for extended periods. Work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Remain active for the duration of a 10-hour shift. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record. Eligible to work in the United States. Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review. Ability to pass a drug screening in accordance with company and Amazon requirements. Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Military veterans are encouraged to apply. Preferred Previous delivery, warehouse, transportation, logistics, or customer service experience. Experience driving cargo vans, box trucks, or commercial vehicles. DOT certification is a plus, but not required.
