Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face delivering furniture directly to customers' doors, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing exceptional customer service. Duties include, but not limited to: Safely operate our company delivery vehicles, including box trucks and a van (must have DOT) Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper lifting practices, including heavy lifting of furniture. Wrapping furniture to ensure safe delivery. Removal of furniture from customers homes. safely unpacking freight and organizing in our warehouse Deliver directly to customers' homes while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude. Handling electronic paperwork through IPads when delivering. Occasional out of state deliveries. Showroom floor moves. Skills Experience in delivery driving with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of route driving, navigation tools, and traffic laws. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Experience in warehouse and retail store environments is a plus for understanding product placement, organization, and presentation. Demonstrated ability to build positive customer relationships through friendly service and professional conduct. Familiarity with DOT regulations ensures compliance during all driving activities.
