We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, team individual to help us deliver material, equipment, documents and furniture throughout the campus. As a member of our team, you'll contribute to APL's success by ensuring incoming materials/equipment are received and delivered in a timely manner. We are passionate about customer service and with your help, we will remain a valued partner throughout the organization.

As a Delivery Coordinator...
  • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure incoming material and equipment are delivered to the appropriate individual/location in a timely manner. This material includes gas bottles, dewars and other dangerous goods.
  • You will ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded which may involve operating a lift gate, forklift or pallet jack.
  • You will use precautionary actions when delivering product to prevent damage. This will require driving APL vehicles.
  • You will track deliverables using parcel tracking system, run reports and reconcile errors daily.
  • You will provide support throughout the group as needed.

  • Have 1+ years of previous delivery experience to include but not limited to assisting with shipment operations, delivering, moving and organizing boxes, inventory coordination and customer order fulfillment
  • Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and walk extensively indoors and out.
  • Requires valid state-of-residence driver's license in good standing.
  • Are able to obtain or possess and maintain a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) Card.
  • Possess basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can work independently and within a team environment
  • Have strong interpersonal, time management and customer service skills
  • Are able to obtain APL forklift certification within 3 months of hire
  • Are able to load/unload packages using pallet jack, lift gate and forklift
  • Can maintain good attendance and punctuality
  • Are able to obtain Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information.
