Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional FedEx Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering packages to customers within designated routes, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the integrity of deliveries. This role requires a dedicated individual with strong driving skills, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Duties Safely operate box trucks, step vans and commercial vehicles to deliver packages along assigned routes Load and unload packages using hand trucks, or manual handling as needed Ensure accurate loading and routing to optimize delivery efficiency Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses, providing courteous service Collect signatures when require delivery confirmations Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving expertise Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients Experience operating box trucks, step vans Ability to lift heavy packages safely and deliver to the customers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience with heavy lifting, moving, and handling various package sizes and weights Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or route planning tools This position offers an opportunity for motivated individuals to become part of a dynamic logistics team committed to timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. Pay Structure. daily base pay $160 Number of stops exceeding 100 will be paid at the rate of $1.10 per stop each day. For example if someone do 150 stops per day, you will getting $1.10 for each of the 50 stops. So your daily pay will be your base pay(per day) $160 plus $55 for your extra stops, making total of $215. The number of daily stops will be in accordance with the volume of work. That is there will be no fixed number of stops.
