Job Description
- Job Summary
- We are seeking a reliable and motivated person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for warehouse duties and taking sales orders. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to handle a forklift as needed and maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service. May also occasionally delivering orders to customers.
- Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and materials to designated locations. Occasionally.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform picking and packing tasks in the warehouse as required.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including verifying shipment contents against invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and inventory management.
- Operate a forklift when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and within the warehouse environment.
- Taking sales orders from contractors and filling those orders.
- Skills
- Experience in warehouse management, including shipping and receiving processes preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate picking and packing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
