Job Description

The Shuttle Driver is a contributing member to the success of the entire automotive group. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for the efficient transportation of customers, parts, paperwork, bank deposits, post office and/or other items to the proper locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL DUTIES

Transports Customers between stores, to other dealerships, the body shop, or any other location as requested. Maintains Ford Certification. Picks up and delivers parts for vehicle repair or reconditioning. Drives shuttle operating in a safe manner and within all dealership and motor vehicle laws, rules and regulations. Plans travel route to ensure most economical use of time. Washes vehicle exteriors and vacuums interiors as needed. Notifies Reconditioning Manager of any issues or concerns with vehicle condition. Works effectively with others by valuing and practicing teamwork at all times and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The Shuttle Driver works in a non-traditional work setting and performs a majority of work inside a vehicle. The employee is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands and arms for driving and reaching. The employee may be exposed to fumes, exhaust, loud noises associated with traffic and/or construction. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work outside the vehicle requires the employee to be active, occasionally walking short distances and ability to use stairs. The employee may be exposed to any weather or temperature conditions. The employee may occasionally be required to lift up to 40lbs.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a part-time position working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm
