In this role, you will operate various types of commercial trucks, including dump & truck, trailers, to transport material safely and efficiently across diverse routes. Your expertise in route driving, manual handling, and cargo management will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and improve efficiency across various logistics cargo handling operations. Load and unload material and equipment with manual handling techniques, ensuring properly securing unloading. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each journey. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries, report delays or issues, and ensure smooth logistics operations. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on delivery driving,. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Strong understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance requirements for truck loading/unloading and safety standards. Excellent manual handling skills for load & unload procedures while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Pay:
$1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week
